Jati, where do you get your inspiration?

There are lot of things that inspires me, but mostly are from movies. Because I’m a fan of Christopher Nolan‘s movies especially Inception.

Which is the reletioship and influence beetween your cultural backgorund (country, studies, etc.) and your artworks?

I studied in art school and graduated in 2013, I learned so much from college like art history and basics design that helps me alot in my career, so I feel grateful for doing something that I like the most and live with it. In art, I’m a fan of Salvador Dali & Rene Magritte as well so that’s why I chose the surrealism art style.

What are you much focused in?

I’m more focused in Digital Imaging, and I’m really into surrealism art style so I combined that with landscape photography.

Have you encountered any difficulties when you first started your art/freelance career?

Yes at first it was pretty hard because there are lot of people that contacted me to do a collaboration and other opportunities. But now I already getting used to it and more comfortable to do it.

Over these years, what is the most important thing you have learnt from your profession?

The most important thing is when someone get inspired by my works and make something new. I had an experience that someone emailed me and told me he’s inspired by my works and he made a mobile app to edit a photo to make something like I did so everyone can make it in the easiest way.

Do you think that a creative job is just creativity or it’s discipline too?

Yes, discipline is a must in every kind of professional job, because if we just use crativity but without discipline, we’re not ready to do a business because we need to arrange the schedule for the deadlines.

Are you currently work on new projects?

For now I just working on some commisions work and I don’t have a collaboration project yet. But for this year, I’m more focused to get participate another art exhibition again like I did in 2016 in St.Petersburg and Singapore.
